Following the success of last year’s June event, the Morning Star is to host a major labour movement delegate Conference, at the Mander Hall, Hamilton House, Mabledon Place, London WC1H 9BD
There will be morning and afternoon plenary sessions. There will also be afternoon workshops, one of which will be hosted by the Institute and other guest organisations, as follows:
- Climate change: ecosocialist alternatives – hosted by Green Left. Expert speaker: Derek Wall (Green Party Principal Speaker)
- Fighting neoliberalism in the Americas – hosted by Cuba Solidarity Campaign and Venezuela Information Centre. Expert speaker: Dr. Francisco Dominguez (Middlesex University)
- Migrant Labour : Good, bad or inevitable? -hosted by Southern and Eastern Region TUC. Expert speaker: Sam Gurney, (Policy Officer, TUC European and International Department)
- Global capital and trade union rights- hosted by Institute of Employment Rights and the United Campaign for the Repeal of Anti-Trade Union Laws. Expert speaker: Steve Gillan (Finance Officer, Prison Officers Association)
