Govt review launched into ethnic minority progression in the workplace

The government has launched a review into ethnic minority progression in the workplace in order to find out what action employers are taking to remove barriers and prevent harassment and to discover whether companies are reporting their ethnicity pay gap.
The results will feed into the recommendations made by the McGregor-Smith review into black, Asian, and minority ethnic participation and progression in the workplace, which recently found that the economy could be boosted by £24 billion a year by better racial equality.
The research will be conducted by Business in the Community.
