WATCH: Rolling out the Manifesto for Labour Law launch

In September 2018, at TUC Congress, the Institute of Employment Rights launched its influential report - Rolling out the Manifesto for Labour Law. Its key recommendations have been adopted by the Labour Party and found support among left-wing political parties and major unions across the UK.

Speaking at the event were:

  • Carolyn Jones, IER Director;
  • John Hendy QC, IER Chair;
  • John McDonnell, Shadow Chancellor;
  • Lauren Townsend, TGI Friday's worker;
  • Mick Cash, RMT General Secretary;
  • Rebecca Long-Bailey, Shadow BEIS Secretary;
  • Dave Ward, CWU General Secretary.
