Camilla has acted as a lawyer for trade unions and their members for almost 6 years, both in New Zealand in the United Kingdom. Prior to qualifying as a lawyer Camilla was Women’s Rights Officer and then Co-President of the New Zealand University Students’ Association and worked as a Policy Analyst for the Association of University Staff. She now works for UNISON as a Solicitor in the Legal Department advising the union and running strategically important litigation cases.

Daniel is a UK-qualified lawyer and has worked at ICTUR since 1999, when he joined the organisation as a researcher. He currently serves as Director of ICTUR and as Editor of International Union Rights journal. Daniel provides technical, consultancy and drafting services to national and international organisations, including a number of global unions. While continuing to work full time at ICTUR Daniel recently completed a Masters degree in Human Rights at the schools of law, philosophy and politics at Keele University, for which he was awarded a distinction grade and won the Patrick Thornberry Prize for Best Dissertation.

Nicola Countouris is a Reader in Law at University College London, where he mainly teaches labour law. He is a member of the Institute of Employment Rights.

Zoe Adams

Zoe Adams

Zoe graduated from Pembroke College, Cambridge, with a degree in Law in 2013. Since then, she has been working for the CBR (Centre for Business Research) alongside Professor Simon Deakin on a number of projects. Her research focuses on the interaction of politics, law and public policy with a particular reference to labour law, public law and EU law. She will complete her Legal Practice Course in June 2014 and will begin an LLM at the EUI, Florence, in September 2014.

Simon Deakin is Professor of Law at the University of Cambridge and a a programme director at the Centre for Business Research. He specialises in labour law, private law, company law, EU law, law and economics, law and development and empirical legal studies
