TTIP Update: MEP trade committee backs TTIP

Cameron said his legislative programme would mean “wherever you live, you can have the chance of a good education, a decent job, a home of your own and the peace of mind that comes from being able to raise a family and enjoy a secure retirement”, yet his proposals show he’s intent on achieving anything but.

OECD calls for better working conditions

A major study conducted by the OECD had found that the rise in in self-employment, temporary and part-time jobs over the past two decades has been a key factor in the rise of inequality. It finds that all the net jobs growth since 1995 in the UK has been accounted for by non-standard work.
